The St. John’s PTO holds its General Meetings a minimum of five times a year.  The PTO Meeting Dates for the 2010/11 school year are:

  • Monday, September 13th 2010
  • Monday, October 18th 2010
  • Monday, January 24th 2011
  • Tuesday, March 8th 2011
  • Monday, May 16th 2011

All of the meetings will begin at 6:30 pm, and are held in the school cafeteria.  Please join us at our meetings to keep up-to-date with information and events at St. John’s School!

As we begin to prepare for the new school year, please be patient as we update our PTO website for the upcoming 2010/11 school year.  The new board members are listed under “CONTACTS” and you are welcome to email or call a board member if you have a question. 

Please remember to visit the PTO’s table in the gym at ”BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT” on Friday, August 6th.  The PTO Board Members will be present that night to provide information about our organization and volunteer opportunities, to collect PTO dues ($10 per family) and to answer any questions you might have.  SCRIP will also be available for purchase that night.  We look forward to seeing you!

Also, if you ordered a School Supply Kit at the end of the last school year, don’t forget to come to the cafeteria on Back to School Night to pick up your kit(s)!  Unfortunately, the kits needed to be pre-ordered, so there are no extra kits available.

Landscape Workday:  Saturday July 31st from 7:30am to 10:30 am.  Help is needed…and appreciated!!

Field Day will be held on two different days this year.  Thursday, May 13th will be Field Day for 6th through 8th grades.  If you are available to volunteer on Thursday please contact Yvonne Koubek at yvonnemkoubek@yahoo.com.  Kindergarten through 5th grade Field Day will be held on Friday, May 14th.  If you are available to volunteer on Friday, please contact Anne Tuggle at ajtuggle@juno.com.  Information regarding dress code and lunch will be sent out 1 week prior to Field Day.  Please volunteer to help out with this fun day!
